As a significant part of Iowa's Healthiest State Initiative, the Blue Zones Project will bring the secrets of the healthiest, happiest, and longest-living cultures in the world to 10 Iowa communities. Blue Zone communities are provided the tools and resources to implement programs that have been successful in other communities to change environments, policy, and behaviors for the well being of all citizens of Carroll and the surrounding communities. Help us reach our goal of 3000 citizens pledged to keep the Carroll community in the running for this outstanding program. All you need to do is go to http://www.bluezonesproject.com and click on "I'm a citizen" to pledge your support for Carroll and the surrounding communities. Anyone 13 years of age and older can pledge and all that is needed is your name and email address. By pledging, you are not obligated to anything, it is just a way to show your support for your community. Please take the time to pledge your support! It could mean BIG things for our communities
